School Supplies Distribution Program

Distribution Time, Location and Dates:
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  | UKB PEACE PAVILION

 August 7 | August 14 | August 21

The United Keetoowah Band will be issuing $300 checks for the purpose of purchasing school clothing, school supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) for EXCLUSIVE Keetoowah children 4-18 years old. (Cannot be enrolled with UKB and another tribe at the same time)

Again, these funds will come in the form of checks and not vouchers. Parents and children will be required to sign for these checks.

Distribution will also be different. UKB Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) and UKB Enrollment will share the distribution location and dates.

However, each department will be serving specific groups of children. Please read carefully to determine which category your child will fall within.

While children are not required to be with you to pick up from us, they will need to be with you to cash your check at the bank. The checks will be made out to the child and can be cashed at the Bank of Cherokee County without a fee. BOTH the parent and child will be required to sign the check unless the child is not able to sign due to age. The child's UKB Tribal Enrollment Card must also be submitted to the bank for verification, as the bank WILL NOT cash the check without proof of enrollment. These rules go for all children being serviced through either CCDF or Enrollment.

This amount and tablet (if applicable) are issued under special circumstances for this year ONLY. UKB Education will also be making some technology supplies available for students who distance learn, but plans for that are not finalized yet. Please check back with us.

CCDF will serve children 4-12 years old that live IN UKB JURISDICTION. To receive the $300 check, parents/legal guardians must download and complete the Clothing and Supplies form below. CCDF must also have the child's proof of tribal membership (enrollment card) and proof of school enrollment letter. Children 4-12 who live OUTSIDE UKB JURISDICTION will get their $300 through Enrollment and the Clothing and Supplies form is NOT needed. Please see the Enrollment process farther down. Again, the forms below are NOT needed if your child lives outside UKB boundaries. (If you are unsure if you are in or out of jurisdiction, please contact Enrollment at 918-871-2797).

In addition to the $300 check, CCDF will also be providing backpacks, facemarks and tablets for Distance Learning to Keetoowah children 4-12 years. Tablets are only for 4-12 year olds that live IN the tribal jurisdiction. More on this program, its requirements, and the form itself are below for download. Again, this is ONLY for children 4-12 years old that LIVE IN JURISDICTION.

Please download the forms, fill them out and bring them with you on the day. If you are not able to download and print, we will also have forms available on site. Downloading them ahead of distribution just saves you time, but it is not required.

For additional questions regarding CCDF distribution, please contact UKB CCDF at 918-871-2799.

Download this form and also complete if you are eligible for a tablet through the CCDF Distance Learning Program.

Enrollment will serve children 4-12 years old that do not qualify for CCDF assistance because they live out of UKB jurisdiction, as well as ALL CHILDREN 13-18 years old. To receive the $300 check, there is NO application. However, parents/legal guardians must fill out a form at the time of pick up. The child's proof of tribal membership (enrollment card) and proof of school enrollment letter must also be presented at pick up. In addition to the $300 check from Enrollment, CCDF will be providing children 13-18 with backpacks and facemarks regardless of if they live in or out of jurisdiction.

For additional questions or if your child needs a replacement enrollment card, please contact the UKB Enrollment Office Registrar Amanda Stopp at 918-871-2797.
