Welcome to the official website for the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma! We are a sovereign nation headquartered in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and one of only three federally recognized Cherokee tribes in the United States.
"Siyo!" is how we say "hello!"
Health Notice:
The UKB Tribal Council has authorized MCTLaw to create a portal allowing Keetoowahs to submit any instances of health discrimination when receiving healthcare at any Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma facilities, including W.W. Hastings. This portal is voluntary and can be accessed with the link.
COVID-19 Schedule
Per the UKB Tribal Council's decision on October 3, the UKB Tribal Offices will reopen for regular hours on a five day work week through the rest of 2020.
While we are reopening on a regular schedule to better serve our tribal members, the lobby will remain closed for these services to ensure the well-being of UKB employees and tribal members amid the COVID-19 pandemic. An employee will be stationed at the front entrance to greet tribal members who need to conduct business. Keetoowah Tag Agency patrons still need to use the side entrance to the Federal Programs Building.
